Who Am I?
My name is Erin Fisher. I grew up with my three siblings in Salem County. As a child, at the end of every summer, we would be put to work decorating bulletin boards, laminating posters and organizing shelves as our mother prepared her classroom for the school year. In high school I volunteered for Big Brothers, Big Sisters and found I enjoyed making a positive affect on the lives of others. These experiences helped lead me to teaching. When I entered college I worked towards my goal of one day becoming an educator with great tenacity, often times working as many as two jobs while carrying a full course load.
When I have free time I enjoy reading, going to the beach and trying new things, like sky diving. But, my most favorite thing to do, is spend time with my son, Grayson. I also love animals! I have a fat and lazy cat named Cheerio and a rambunctious dog named Remy. When asked what kind of food I'm in the mood for, I usually answer, "something delicious." But I never say no to tacos. My favorite book to share with kids is called, "Pickle Things". It is a very silly book all about how funny it would be if we replaced everyday things with pickles.
But if what you're wondering about me is, "Will she be a good teacher?" Just put me in a room full of 8 year olds and watch.
